CaptureSaver is a lightweight software application built specifically for helping you capture and organize your information in a clean and intuitive working environment.

The program gives you the possibility to save the information provided by an online website or other active windows, and create a database which contains the user-defined data. It offers support for Internet Explorer (the extension is installed by default), Firefox, Chrome, and Opera.

What’s more, you can create multiple databases and work with them at the same time, thanks to its multi-tabbed interface.

CaptureSaver is able to capture complete webpages for reading them in an offline mode, and you only need to perform a right-click operation on the target webpage and select the option “Add to CaptureSaver.” The tool automatically saves the entire contents of the webpage in its database, and you can also save images from websites or capture only the selected text and pictures.

Other notable characteristics worth mentioning are represented by the possibility to save the text from an active window, edit or add your comments and keywords, as well as pick a block of text or images in a program, such as IE, Microsoft Word, Notepad, or others, and transfer the information to the database with the aid of clipboard options or by simply dragging and dropping it into the primary panel.

CaptureSaver enables you to take screenshots in a full screen mode, capture the selected window or only a user-defined region of the screen, organize your information in a hierarchical tree by creating folders and subdirectories, add your personal comments, enter keywords for every article, move folders and articles to achieve the desired order, perform search operations, as well as encrypt information by setting up passwords.
