The Internet is a powerful source of info, even the place where you can perform research on other websites. Specialized services monitor and record Internet activities, allowing users to view statistics. In this regard, Domain Lookup comes with a set of tools to scan and show domain info based on several service analysis data.

Needless to say that you need to have an active Internet connection for the application to be able to look up data of interest. Gathered details are shown in an organized environment, with each service taking up a dedicated tab for a more comfortable experience. There’s also a dedicated navigation toolbar for input and movement between pages.

To get started you need to write down the web address of interest. The application then looks up related data on Internet Archive, Alexa rankings, as well as Google results for the particular string. Every type of info is shown in a dedicated tab.

Luckily, the application also has the capability to act as a web browser, letting you easily navigate through pages and interact with links. However, it’s not fitted with any advanced features of a browser, such as history tracking, bookmark managing, tab support for different pages, and such. It’s possible to open pages in a new window from the context menu, but this operation is continued in Internet Explorer.

Note that all analysis needs to be done on the spot. It would have been useful to see a function to save web pages with related details, or at least a snapshot preview. When not directly used, it can easily be hidden to the tray area.

Taking everything into consideration, we can say that Domain Lookup is a practical method of analyzing the statistics of any domain based on popular, trustworthy services. It comes with browser navigation capabilities, and even though it’s not fitted with advanced operations, it’s sure to provide the info you’re looking for.
