zB BlogLock is a SWF application that embeds on your blog, which encrypts and decrypts text to hide away parts of your entry.

Basically, it requires you to embed BlogLock into your blog template, and using it to generate scrambled text, which is sensative content that is restricted to people whom you give the password to.

Your viewer must copy and paste the encrypted text into BlogLock, which is why it's a good idea to embed BlogLock onto your blog's sidebar. Entering a correct password will allow your viewer to unscramble the text to read the actual content.

Note that it is possible to have more than one password, since different password will encrypt the text differently. Also, you can have an entry with only a selected paragraph encrypted, which eliminates the problem of having to hide the whole entry of blog just because of a small part is you deem is sensative.

== Blogger Side ==
· To start off, enter text that are to be encrypted into the BlogLock's text field.
· Choose a password.
· press on the "Encrypt" button.
· Orginal text will appear scrambled and unreadable.
· Copy the encrypted text with the choice of copying as plain text, HTML code that encloses content into a text box or as a forum quote.
· Paste the content into blog entry, publish and update your blog.
· Options like saving the password to your computer, masking or unmasking (show actual password or display as asteriks) the password field available.
· The password setted during encryption is needed to decrypt the content, thus may be shared with anyone whom you grant permission to read the encrypted text.

== Viewer Side ==
· the viewers whom has the password simple copy and paste the encrypted content in to BlogLock's text field.
· Note that the viewer should copy within and inclusive of the [START] and [END] tags.
· Enter the password.
· click "Decrypt".
· If password is correct and the encrypted content is not corrupted, the text will unscramble to reveal the orginal content.

==To Embed on Blogs ==
· Host BlogLock's SWF file onto an image host, for example, Imageshack.
· Get the direct link (eg http://someimagehost.com/myuser/bloglock.swf) to the SWF.
· Then use this html code:
· The height and width can be increased to any value that suits your blog template, but remeber to keep the width and height in propotion.
