If you believe that there’s something wrong with your computer, you should probably call a doctor.
And Spyware Doctor is always there to answer your emergency call, so getting rid of spyware and other infected files might not be such a big deal after all.
Just like its name suggests, Spyware Doctor is a software solution developed especially to help clean infected computers, but at the same time it can also provide real-time protection in a number of ways.
Spyware Doctor looks quite nice, so we were pleasantly surprised by its interface. All features are well organized in the main window, allowing you to either start a scan instantly or to browse among its menus, be them those concerning the real-time protection or settings.
And since we’re talking about the settings, Spyware Doctor has a pretty rich options menu, thus letting you schedule scans, change the way the scanning process goes or manage the files in quarantine.
The scanning process is probably the most important thing of the whole application, so it’s probably worth mentioning that it goes pretty fast, without stressing up the computer too much. The trial version isn’t able to remove the infected files, so you’ll have to buy a full license to get rid of them.
All in all, Spyware Doctor is more like a bodyguard rather than a medic, regardless if we’re talking about browsers, emails, network or other parts that might expose your computer to online threats. And paying 30 dollars for this kind of security isn’t at all expensive.
