EduVNC is an interesting and small utility which allows users to remotely view and / or control a Windows desktop using a web browser.
You install and configure EduVNC on the computer you want to access remotely. When your away from your computer and want to access it you can. Using any web browser you visit your computer, enter a password, and can then remote see and control the desktop. There is no client software to install: no browser based downloads, no Java applet to run, and no Active-X control. EduVNC only uses HTML and JavaScript which lets EduVNC work on locked down computers where you are not administrator.
Basic use consists of creating a service, configuring the features you want to use, and clicking start. Then from any web browser visit http://computername:port to see the desktop (replacing port with the port you configured and computer name with the IP address or DNS name of your computer).
