It captures live video streams from video input devices such as web cameras and digital camcorders through USB or IEEE 1394 firewire interface, encodes into Adobe shockwave flash (swf) streams or RTP streams such as H.263, H.263+, H.264 and MPEG-4 (IETF standards RFC 2190, RFC 2429, RFC 3984, etc).
These streams can then be published through the internet to web browsers using html embeded swf object, or to media players using RTSP and other streaming protocols.
