Openfind Enterprise Search (OES) is a free program that allows setting up intranet document search and Internet Web site search in minutes. OES can also deal with double bytes as well as single bytes contents.

Administration
· Up-to-date index progress
As a new index is being built, Administrator will be able to observe the most up-to-date index progress, including index file list, total number of files being processed and its percentage of completion.

· User-friendly index scheduling
OES provides flexible index scheduling option that allows Administrator to set index schedule based on the nature of data.

In addition to the Simple Search feature, users can also try different search syntax, such as Boolean Operators and Exclude/Include Operators, OES query syntax can help user to find the most accurate and relevant information in a flash.

· Cross-language search platform
OES is a multilingual search system that allows simultaneous search for contents written in different languages, including English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, etc.

· Find Office and PDF files
By using a high-performance document format converter, this module provides search service for HTML web pages, plain text files, Microsoft Office documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and VISIO), Microsoft RTF documents, and Adobe PDF documents, etc.

· Advanced search
Administrator can use data field search and range search in Advanced Search, to clearly define search range and field-specific search for the most accurate results.
