FlySpeed SQL Query
Working with multiple database connections and running various SQL scripts might be a simple task when you are an advanced computer user who really know how manipulate the tables the way you want and create basic scripts.
When it comes to building complex SQL scripts and working with multiple queries and tables might become a strenuous job, especially for beginners and here is where FlySpeed SQL Query comes in handy.
The main window of the application is easy-to-use and the wizard guides you through the entire process of setting a new database connection. Still, before starting, you need to make sure that your computer contains the appropriate OLE DB providers and ODBC drivers (which can be managed from the Administrative Tools snap-in, located in Control Panel).
After choosing the connection type you are interested in, be it MS SQL Server, Oracle, SQLite, PostgreSQL or MySQL and defining specific properties for the selected database, the program will automatically display the content in the left panel.
This way, you can drag the tables you are interested in and connect them through mapping relations. It enables you to build queries from simple to complex on many different database servers without needing deep knowledge of SQL syntax.
The scripting area, located in the bottom pane of FlySpeed SQL Query enables you to view the generated scripts and execute them. This is very useful when you don’t know how to work with INNER JOIN statements in order to view data from multiple tabs. Additionally, if you want to view specific data from each table, you can choose only the attributes you are interested in.
Additionally, you are able to comment SQL lines that you do not want to execute, reformat the current query or simply change the letter case.
Considering all of the above, FlySpeed SQL Query proves to be a steady and effective solution that facilitates the process of building SQL scripts within seconds.
