ProxyPal is a simple-to-use Internet Explorer plugin that allows users to quickly enable and disable proxies while surfing the web, with the simple click of a button.
It is very simple to use by individuals of any level of experience, as it doesn't come packed with any configuration settings.
Once installed, you are required to restart Internet Explorer, in order to apply the new settings. If its icon is not visible in the toolbar, then you have to customize it by accessing the "Add or remove commands" area.
From this point on, proxies are enabled and disabled with every click on ProxyPal's icon. A small dialog pops up to notify you of the last change. There are no other options available through this tool.
No error dialogs have been shown in our tests, and the plugin did not hang or crash. It didn't cause any issues to Internet Explorer. Thanks to its overall simplicity, it can be handled by all types of users. On the downside, ProxyPal has not been updated for a very long time.
