TekSIP

The SIP technology is widely used around the world for various applications involving video and audio streaming, such as Voice over IP phones and video conferences.

If you are planning on setting up a VoIP system in your company, you can use a software utility to monitor the ongoing sessions and the currently active registrations, in order to have total control over the network.

TekSIP is an application that acts as a SIP proxy and registrar, with support for UDP, TCP and TLS transport protocols. At the same time, it is also fully compatible with NAT traversal connections to properly intercept and modify the traffic in peer-to-peer and VoIP networks.

The application can work with the RFC 3261, RFC 3263 and RFC 3311 application layer protocols to effectively identify and transport media streams. The large protocol support enables you to employ many different technologies and assure a high-quality transmission between your devices.

TekSIP allows you to bring modifications to the service parameters and listen to IP addresses, in order to keep an eye on the outgoing traffic. To start listening, you can choose the IP address, port and whether to use the UDP or TCP transport protocol in the process. You can include the SIP domain and enable the STUN server.

If you want to protect your data and keep it safe from unauthorized access, you can enable authentication and use a RADIUS server to connect. The passwords can be fully encrypted and you can blacklist IP endpoints for a period of time after a custom number of login failures.

Thanks to the wide range of supported protocols and the large number of monitoring possibilities, TekSIP can be effectively used as a VoIP monitor and SIP proxy to manage the telephony network in your company.
