Those who use Asterisk servers could be seeking for a software solution that could help them manage the connection and outgoing/incoming calls for such servers.

SmartFink was created to allow people to view on-going conversations, verify the queue list or record the calls that are undergoing through the Asterisk servers.

People will be able to visualize the status of the Asterisk extensions, queue elements or the status for DAHDI module. Drag-and-dropping is supported and people can create dials, initialize transfers, take control of the DAHDI line or a queue entry.

Some other features include number dialing, URL pop-ups, recording, barging/whispering, etc. Being deployed as a standalone installer, its main interface will enable people to visualize information about the connected servers and access the configuration module, where the server details can be inputted.

One will be able to specify a custom server name, add a corresponding IP and port or provide the necessary user credentials for the login process. Extension numbers are also supported and people can define custom passwords for the servers.

Notifications can be enabled for easier status keeping and the application can also be set to start at the PC booting sequence. People can also add their custom URL pop, where a caller ID can be inserted as a tag in the URL.
