A portable web server for everybody, click-to-go, flexible and safe
Without knowing any technical stuff, you can build a desktop Web site on your PC, share files with friends all over the world.
Built-in password protection, guestbook, chatroom. MyWeb is easy for beginners. Programmers can use the Script/Win32 interfaces to run their codes.
With MyWeb, you can write programs using JavaScript, VBScript, or even C/C++? Then you can make MyWeb more powerful. Here are some key features of "MyWeb":
Easy to Use:
· MyWeb does not requires you to know anything about HTML and Script, web site security and any other technical stuff. In fact, you don't have to write a single Web page.
Publish Random Files:
· MyWeb has a Dynamic Files folder. Random files from anywhere on your PC can be put into this folder. This way, you can publish a single file from a folder while hiding all the others.
Publish Multimedia Files:
· MyWeb can create a thumbnail list for each image folder.
Web Chat:
· Have you ever been the host of a web chat room? With MyWeb, you are! and nobody can take you out of the position.
Zip Folder Downloading:
· When you publish a folder and select the "Allow Zip Folder" option, your visitors can download a whole folder in a zip file.
Upload Files:
· When you publish a folder, you can also chose whether the visitors can post their files to this folder.
Auto Blocker:
· When enabled, the IP address of a visiter who is sending invalid request command, or the requst contains malicious instructions, will be put into the "Auto-block List".
Password Protection:
· With password protection, visitors are asked to enter their name and password before they can access any of your resources.
Publish Folders:
· When you publish a folder, you can also chose whether the sub-folders should be hidden or not. This allows you publish a folder while hiding its sub-folders.
Publish Real Time Files:
· Real Time File lets you attach video/audio recording device to MyWeb.
Break-and-Resume Downloading:
· If a visitor is downloading files from your web site, and the downloading is interrupted due to network failure or other, it can be resumed. This saves both your and your visitors time and network resource.
IP Filter List:
· You can set you Web site accessible only to a number of friends, or block IPs you don't like.
Programmable:
· MyWeb supports interfaces to Windows Script and Win32 Console Applications. You can write programs using JavaScript, VBScript, or even C/C++? Then you can make MyWeb more powerful.
