Rykon Server is a straightforward utility that enables you to create a web server in seconds, and it provides a fair number of useful features. Many have not yet been implemented, however, as the application is still in the early stages of the development process.

Rykon Server is a great program for users who need to set up a web server quickly, without having to waste time configuring it. All it takes is a couple of mouse clicks, and the generated URL can be provided to any other device on the network.

When it is accessed from a standard browser, the web server allows you to access all the files stored in the host directory, either from a PC or mobile device.

It is worth mentioning that Rykon Server is still under development, so bugs are to be expected. Many functions have not been fully implemented.

You can access files stored in the server folder from other machines on the same network and view the host’s desktop, but the video and audio players do not seem to be fully functional, as we were only able to play the included sample files.

When it comes to controlling the host machine remotely, only a few actions can be performed, such as launching or closing a process, displaying a message box and opening an image file.

Rykon Server can be minimized to the system tray once the web server has been launched, so is not likely to get in your way.

Unfortunately, the interface provided by the web panel is very basic and needs to be redesigned for future releases.
