Anim-FX is a program that lets you create and design an intro or banner for your website.

So, if you don't have enough experience in the web design department or if you don't want to get someone else to build an intro or banner, then you can use this software.

The user interface is easy to navigate through, since it consists of a single window. We don't recommend maximizing it, since the red background quickly becomes troubling to the eyes.

All you have to do is enter text (up to five lines), set its position and size, as well as configure text and background color.

But you can also enable loop, URL on click or at the end of the text, set volume (enter "0" if you want to disable sound) and add special effects.

In addition, you can enable the freeze button if you entered five lines of text and put the loop option to "1" or higher, as well as select a target frame (self, blank, parent, top, mainframe).

There is a multitude of choices when it comes to special effects - Matrix, Elevator, Waves, Connection, Forward, Flare, Bang, Travel, Speed, Halloween, and more. Most of them have a very professional appearance. Unfortunately, the demo version is limited (as you can see by reading the product description below).

Plus, you cannot change font, add a background image (but according to the developer's website, you can do this by editing the text file once you have purchased the full version), and effects are automatically applied to all lines of text.

On the other hand, the program is very simple to use by anyone with minimum knowledge in Flash building, consumes a low amount of system resources, and you can access a FAQ page on the developer's website (where you can also find out target frame differences).

Although we would have liked Anim-FX to be more customizable, we still recommend you test it for yourself.
