Creates text effects for Macromedia Flash, and does that real-time

FlaX is a powerful application designed to create flash text effects, offering a very intuitive interface to guide users throughout the whole process.
As said, the number one strong point is the interface, not necessarily because it makes everything so user-friendly, but also because it shows a real-time preview of the created text effect.
It all comes down to four different windows, the main one where you can see the text effect preview, “Movie Properties”, “Text Properties” and “Effects Properties”, each coming with its very own settings.
The “Movie Properties” dialog lets you pick width, height, FPS, angle and background color, while the “Text Properties” options enables you to configure text position, font, size, script, colors and style.
Last but not least, you can select a new effect via the dedicated window, with options such as amount, speed, delay and direction. There are no less than 256 effects available, some of them including even a background sound.
FlaX lets you export the created flash text effects as SWF, test them either in a player or in your default browser, create projector, set it as screensaver or save the project for further editing.
For those who want even more customization options, FlaX enables users to choose the background picture, be it a GIF, JPG or BMP, scale it to fit movie, insert an MP3 or choose the shape of the project, with multiple options available, as it follows: arc, arc lower and upper, bulge, squeeze, flag and rise.
As a conclusion, FlaX is one powerful software solution to deal with flash text effects and since it does such a good job and works on all Windows versions, it's really worth a try.

Here are some key features of "FlaX":
· FlaX offers great flexibility in altering the effects
· Each text effect has its own Fx Properties window. On this window you can find several "factory preset" effects in a dropdown list.
· You also can find sliders and buttons to alter the effect to your own taste. Any change you make will be visible immediately, thus making it very easy to create your own effect variations.
· You can "bookmark" any effect variation you made, and your effect will then get added to the "factory preset" effects, for future use. You can also export these bookmarks, and share them with others.
· All fonts on your system will be included in FlaX
· If you want to use other fonts in FlaX, simply download any TTF font, and install it on your computer. FlaX will automatically include it in its font list.
· Many font coloration options
· FlaX has many font coloration and styling options: solid letters, outline only letters, gradient coloration, etc.
· Font shaping
· With FlaX you can change the shape of your text. You can use shaping for all of the FlaX effects. See our shape samples page to see what this can do for your text effect..
· FlaX SWF files can be imported into Flash
· Unlike several other text effects programs, the effects created by FlaX can be imported directly into Adobe Flash. This means that FlaX effects can be very easily integrated into your other Flash work.
