Swiff Player is a program which allows you to play video files with the SWF extension.
The media player comes with a simplistic interface in which you can open a SWF video by using either the file browser or "drag and drop" method.
So, you can use basic media player functions, such as pause and stop, switch to full screen mode, enable loop mode and navigate back and forth within the track.
In addition, you can check out movie properties, such as dimensions, frame rate, frames number, size, length, location and player version.
But you can also set file associations, use hardware acceleration, as well as disable the status and seek bars.
The program requires a moderate amount of system resources, supports several keyboard shortcuts and didn't pop up any errors during our tests. There is no help file available but that's because Swiff Player is pretty limited and can be easily used by individuals with any level of experience.
On the other hand, Swiff Player crashed when we tried using hardware acceleration. Furthermore, you cannot create playlists, adjust the volume, rewind or go forward, and so on. Nevertheless, we strongly recommend Swiff Player to all users who prefer a straightforward application.
