BetaWebzz is a tool that manages web content as "Web Items" and "Web Collections" in a database (for example product descriptions and news articles, Internet links, downloadable files and product images).
"Web Items" are grouped in "Web Collections" and can be cross-linked, and group-related associations are possible, (for example: "item 1 in collection A is linked to item 2 in collection B"), these associations will be used for automatic list creation.

· the page layout can be controlled using "Web Templates" and "Web Snippets", for example for page headers and footers, product lists, lists of associated download files, product informations
· unlimited number of "Web Pages"
· unlimited number of "Web Projects"
· integrated RichEdit control WYSIWYG text editor with toolbar and popup menus
· hyperlinks to Internet locations are created automatically whenever the Internet link name appears in the product description or news text
· insert HTML color codes using a color picker
· insert images by typing only their file name enclosed with percent signs: %image.gif% will be replaced by the neccessary HTML code, including the correct bitmap height and width (automatic size detectection currently only for GIF files)
· template-driven web page generation reduces the complexity of work
· manages a virtually unlimited number of "Web Projects" in a single database file
· creates XHTML web pages using ScroogeXHTML for Delphi(tm)
· supports Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) files following the W3C standard
· the generated HTML files are very small, resulting in very high download speed
· detects and uploads all new and changed project files automatically
· transfers all files to the web server using a built-in visual BTVisualFTP client component
· no server-side database or scripting engine is neccessary, only FTP access is required
· includes the BetaSoft web site database as a starting point for your own web site
