Html Image Generator is created to automate code publication over internet - automate source code coloring. It means that it receives some source code (in some language) and transforms it into html script that represents (will be visible as) colored source code.

Html Image Generator positions itself as an application plug-in (.dll) for web sites, web services… and so on. Code for Html Image Generator was extracted from Source Editor (SE).

Html Image Generator uses the design values defined in the SE and written into the Registry or into some profile (HtmlImageGen.ini) file. Code was rewritten to do not use MFC class library, to be smaller and faster. And it works in the multi-thre ading environment.

This is a plug-in for web applications (.dll file) with examples for using in C/C++, C#, ASP.NET.

Html Image Generator generates Html Script for code coloring. It can color next types of files: Assembler(.asm, .inc), C/C++(.c, .cpp, .h), C#(.cs), Java(.java), Resources(.rc), XML (.xml, .config,...), CSS (.css), JavaScript (.js), ASP.NET files.
