SiteMap Editor

SiteMap Editor is a feather-light and portable application that gives you the possibility to edit sitemaps with the XML file extension. It comes loaded with a few advanced options that anyone can quickly figured out.

You can drop SiteMap Editor's executable file anywhere on the hard drive or on a removable storage unit, and just click it to launch the app on any computer with minimum effort. Unlike most installers, it doesn't make any modifications to the Windows registry.

Wrapped up in a user-friendly interface which consists of a regular window with a neatly structure layout, SiteMap Editor lets you get started by opening an XML file with the sitemap.

It swiftly loads each URL in the main app window and enables you to insert a new one between any two links. Apart from the web address, you can show local or UTC time, specify the date and time of last modification, define the priority level, and set the frequency to change.

It's possible to duplicate selected webpages from the list, remove any items, or edit their properties. Plus, you can use a basic function to search and replace any keywords across the entire sitemap. All changes are applicable with the click of a button. There are no other notable options available here.

We haven't come across any stability issues in our tests, thanks to the fact that the utility needed low CPU and memory to function normally. It didn't hang, crash or prompt error messages.

Although it doesn't boast rich options and configuration parameters, SiteMap Editor offers a simple solution for editing XML sitemaps, and it can be handled even by inexperienced users.
