wiki2xhtml is a complete webpage generator. You can give the program a file in the Wikipedia-Syntax, and it creates web pages from it.
There is also a Code Paste Window where you can write code in the Wiki Syntax and just recieve the xhtml code.
wiki2xhtml supports galleries, menus, headers, lists, tables etc.
The aim of wiki2xhtml is that you can create a good-looking, accessible web page with clean (x)html code.
To create a web page, you have to write the source text in the Wiki syntax (which is explained in the Help file. It is very easy to learn and much faster that to write (x)html code"and you don't create “untidy” code.
You may think: There are thousands of such programs on earth, it is only another copy. That is wrong. wiki2xhtml gives you lots of freedom.
Here are some key features of "wiki2xhtml":
· You can create your own design, however you want, there are nearly no constraints.
· It is possible to use own code; no characters are “masqueraded” (if you e.g. write a
· in the source, it will cause a new line and nothing else)!
· Use wiki2xhtml for other projects! With the code paste window it is possible to generate (x)html code easily which you can use in an other program, e.g. PostNuke.
· Page title, navigation, footer etc. can be set in separate files to minimize expense and maximize flexibility. Example pages: http://wiki2xhtml.sourceforge.net/ and http://livingshadow.uttx.net/
