SMETAR was designed to be a weather monitoring tool. It will access the METAR database, and display it in a human-friendly fashion.
Important notice
As of december 2007, has been reported that the METAR information provided by the NOAA which is used by SMETAR, has changed its location to weather.noaa.gov/pub/data/observations/metar/decoded. You will need to update SMETAR to version 0.60 or later in order to work.
