It needs to be mentioned from the get-go that you cannot fully enjoy the functions of the app unless you already have Java installed on your PC - you probably already have it on your computer, since there are many utilities out there that require this runtime to run smoothly.

The graphical interface is meant to be both appealing (you can switch the background image and choose the one you like best) and functional, as you can view a wide array of info in a single glance once you enter a city name, landmark or ZIP code.

The application shows various types of current weather conditions, such as humidity, visibility, pressure, wind speed and direction, as well as temperature and dates of sunrise and sunset. You can get a 2-day precipitation forecast or a detailed one for every hour throughout a 36-hour interval.

If there is a weather alert in your region, the app automatically displays a dedicated warning message thus helping you take the most appropriate measures.

Due to this utility, you can view a map of the city you selected (unfortunately you cannot zoom in or out), along with real-time street views and satellite imagery. If your chosen city is located on North America, you can also benefit from the static and animated Doppler Radar.

The application can come in handy, no matter if you want to get the current weather conditions for a certain location or if you are interested in a 5-day forecast that specifies info like the lowest and highest temperatures.
