If you're looking for an app that can take snapshots of your webcam with just a single click, search no more because Webcam Snapshot was especially developed with this goal in mind.
An eye-candy look is there to interact with all users, providing one-click access to the main features.
A webcam preview is also available to show you the streaming content and so is a dedicated button to send a new snapshot via email.
But what's more important is that Webcam Snapshot provides two different snapshot modes: the standard one that creates a new screenshot whenever you press the dedicated button and a second one based on a user-defined time. The latter mode can automatically take a screenshot at a configured interval.
There are no other configuration settings and the only supported format is JPG.
Webcam Snapshot doesn't slow down the system in any way and it works just fine on absolutely all Windows versions. What's more, it doesn't require administrator privileges on Windows 7 workstations.
To sum up, Webcam Snapshot is indeed a helpful product, but it still needs a bunch of improvements in some key areas. If there's something that really deserves to be praised it's the interface, which not only that looks good, but it's also well thought out to provide instant access to the main features. There's no help manual available, but all user categories, including complete rookies, shall be able to figure out the purpose of each tool in a second.
