CDA Burner Plus

CDA Burner Plus is an advanced software application whose purpose is to help you create and burn audio CDs, record audio streams, as well as cut songs.

The tool comes packed with various configuration settings. However, the GUI does not look crowded at all. It actually reveals a well-structured suite of features. The main window can be kept on top of other utilities or you can make it transparent. Thanks to the built-in player, you can start, pause, or stop the current audio selection. Your Windows media player can also be opened for listening to songs.

An advanced audio analyzer can be employed for viewing the audio histogram of a song and getting information about the file (e.g. samples, bits, channels, total samples) and audio selection (e.g. starting and ending samples, starting and ending time).

CDA Burner Plus lets you record audio streams to WAV file format. You may adjust the number of bits per sample, samples per second, and channels. Easy playback controls are integrated for helping you start, stop, or pause the recording process.

The application allows you to set a default filename and audio format, configure file renaming options, tweak WAV files (in terms of number of samples, bitrate, and channels), alter MP3 audio streams (e.g. bitrate, quality, sample rate, mode, error protection, VBR mode, VBR quality), as well as configure WMA files (codec and format).

Post-processing actions can be activated at the end of a task, namely sound notifications, execution of external applications, or computer turnoff session. ID3 tags can also be modified (e.g. artist, song, album, genre, year).
