All Media To Mp3 Converter Pro is a software which can encode various file extensions to MP3, WAV and WMA.
It recognizes several file formats, including AVI, MPG, DAT, VOB, ASF, WMA, RM and MOV.
The user interface of the program is standard, so first-time users shouldn't have any problem in handling this tool.
You can add files to the queue by using the file browser (the "drag and drop" method is not supported), configure settings and initiate the conversion process.
In the "Preferences" menu, you can set the output directory, as well as enable the program to play sound or shut down the computer when encoding is finished.
In the list you can view the type, source and output directory for each file. But you can also access a “File Message” to view details (e.g. major type, sub type, format, sample rate, channels). By pressing the "Convert" button, you can select the type of the output files - MP3, WMA or WAV.
The software uses a moderate amount of system resources, contains an incomplete help file, finishes a task in a short amount of time and manages to keep a good sound quality.
Supposedly, All Media To Mp3 Converter Pro supports batch conversions but the tool actually encodes only the first file in the queue. Plus, you cannot configure any advanced audio settings (e.g. set sample frequency rate, bitrate).
Although the demo version is limited to converting the first 10 seconds of a file, the tool managed to encode the first 17 seconds in one case.
All in all, All Media To Mp3 Converter Pro is a good tool for encoding audio files but it certainly needs to fix its problems (especially the batch conversion part) and give you some options when it comes to the user interface customization.
