FreeStar AMR MP3 Converter
FreeStar AMR MP3 Converter is a program designed to encode audio tracks from the AMR format to the MP3 extension. It can be easily used by individuals of any level.
The interface of the application is simplistic and easy to navigate through. AMR files can be imported into the list via the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported (and neither is batch processing).
In the list you can check out the status, time, size, source and output path of the respective AMR file.
So, all you have to do is specify the output directory and profile (high, optimal, standard or economy quality). Once the conversion has been completed, you are alerted by sound.
The program runs on a low-to-moderate amount of system resources and quickly finishes a conversion task while managing to keep a very good sound quality.
On the other hand, there is no help file available and you cannot manually configure the bit rate and sampling rate, in order to create your own output profile. But the biggest problem is that batch processing is not supported. Also, FreeStar AMR MP3 Converter popped up errors every time we tried to change the interface. Nevertheless, we suggest you test the tool for yourself to see if it fits your preferences.
