Splitting by frame only generates one chunk per process. It’s easily defined by manually writing down hour, minute, and seconds for both start, and end points, and you can use a progress slider for audio feedback, and to get the right time values. Since the application doesn’t close after a process is done, multiple parts can be extracted this way, but start and end values need to be specified each time.

The other two modes both deliver multiple parts in a single processing step. On the one hand, you can choose the number of parts to be created. In a similar manner, the number can be automated by fitting a custom value to each part.

Taking everything into consideration, we can say that AC3 Splitter is sure to come in handy because of its fast processing speed, and intuitive set of tools. The only inconvenience here is the poor file support, but it’s sure to be worth your while if you only work with AC3 audio files.
