EArt Audio Cutter

As the name of this program implies, EArt Audio Cutter allows you to split audio tracks. It supports multiple formats (namely MP3, WMA, OGG and WAV) and can encode extensions between these types.

The interface of the application is plain and easy to work with. Audio tracks can be imported via the file browser only, because the "drag and drop" method is not supported. Batch processing is not possible.

All you have to do is preview tracks in a built-in audio player and trim them by marking the start and end position, as well as specify the output destination and profile, in order to proceed with the trimming task.

But you can also change audio settings when it comes to the sample frequency rate, channel mode, bit rate, encoder quality, VBR and others, or you can simply select a preset (e.g. phone, tape, studio). Plus, you can enable EArt Audio Cutter to copy the metadata from the source files.

The audio processing tool takes up a moderate amount of system resources, has a good response time, quickly finishes a task and manages to keep a good sound quality after conversion. No errors have occurred during our tests and EArt Audio Cutter did not freeze or crash. There's also a comprehensive help file that you can look into. Too bad you do not have access to additional splitting methods (e.g. by custom time or size). But, even so, we strongly recommend EArt Audio Cutter to all users.
