Free2X Sound Recorder 184.108.40.206
An easy to handle sound recorder with scheduling functions and keyboard shortcuts to conveniently control the recording operation
Thanks to the well-organized interface, configuring the recording process is a simple task even for beginners. Prior to starting a new session, you should take a look at the default settings and modify them as you consider fit.
You can select the input device (the microphone your computer is equipped with) from the designated drop-down list, set the input channel and adjust the recording volume.
The output can be saved in multiple formats, namely MP3, OGG, WMA and WAV. For MP3 recordings, you can select a constant or a variable encoder bitrate and customize its value. Depending on the output type, Free2X Sound Recorder can generate low, medium or high quality sounds, with different sample rates and mono or stereo channels.
To make things even more easy, the application features customizable shortcut keys for stopping, pausing and resuming the recording operation while working with other programs, although you can do this using the dedicated buttons within the main GUI.
One of its most important features is the scheduling capability. Using this function, you can instruct Free2X Sound Recorder to start the operation at a user-defined date and time and stop the process after a specific time interval. Thus, you can leave it working in the system tray and forget about it, the recording starts automatically.
Output files are displayed in the built-in file manager, allowing you to delete them, open them with an installed audio player or make use of the integrated player to listen to recordings.
Combining ease of use with functionality and efficiency, Free2X Sound Recorder provides various recording configuration options, while keeping things as simple as possible for inexperienced users.
