MPEG Audio Scissors 126.96.36.199
The application can cut and join multiple MP3 files at frame
Once the quick installation is done, you can check out a simple interface with an uncomplicated layout. MPEG Audio Scissors does not excel in the visual department, but its features are pretty easy to figure out.
Loading an audio track into the working environment is done with the help of the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is unsupported.
It is possible to import as many audio tracks as you want and create a job list to process multiple items at the same time. However, you cannot cut multiple pieces from the same song simultaneously.
MPEG Audio Scissors displays all the necessary information on each track, such as the version, layer, bit rate, sample rate, channel mode, copyright and number of frames.
So, you can preview each audio file in a built-in player, use a slider to navigate, and mark the start and end position by pressing two buttons; it is possible to accurately establish the first and last frame. In addition, you may save the list job for further processing, change the interface language and hide the progress bar for processed jobs, in order to increase the trimming speed.
The audio editing tool requires low system resources, so it doesn't put a strain on the computer's performance. It has a good response time, finishes a task rapidly and preserves the original sound quality of the files. We have not encountered any problems during our evaluation, as the app did not hang, crash or alert us of errors. Thanks to its overall simplicity, less experienced users should be able to quickly figure out how to work with MPEG Audio Scissors.
