Skype Call Recorder 0.7.2.1
Simple layout and Skype settings
This unobtrusive tool runs quietly in the system tray until called upon when it reveals only a few configuration settings to tinker with. You are welcomed by a clean feature lineup that allows you to carry out most operations with minimal effort.
Of course, in order to carry out the recording process, you are required to open Skype. When run for the first time, you need to make some settings so you can make the program work. You are required to allow Skype Call Recorder to connect to your Skype account.
Skype Call Recorder gives you the possibility to turn the recording mode on or off, specify the target location where the MP3 files are stored, as well as open the saving directory directly from the primary panel.
What’s more, you can make the utility run at Windows startup, choose the recording mode, namely mono (the sound from microphone and incoming sound are mixed to one channel), stereo (the sound from microphone goes to right channel, incoming voice to left channel), or joint stereo, as well as select the recording bitrate (32, 64, or 128).
Plus, the recorded filenames contain information about the time and date of the recording, direction of Skype call, and name or telephone number of contacts.
To sum things up, Skype Call Recorder offers a simple yet efficient software solution when it comes to helping you record your Skype conversations and export them to MP3 file format.
