As a musician, sometimes you may come across an incredible piece that you would love to transcribe to practice. Easier said than done, as transcribing is a complex process that entails having a combination of music skills, music theory know-how and musical instrument proficiency.

Transcribe! is a tool that can come in handy in these circumstances, as it can assist you with the difficult process.

The app comes with a user-friendly interface that displays the track you are working on as a waveform. The waveform is scrollable so that you can easily get an overview of the track, identify and replay various sections and beats, as well as determine the structure and amplitude of the file. This is what differentiates the tool compared to similar apps that typically just slow down the track.

It goes without saying that you can use the wavelength track based on your preferences, as it supports annotations, markers, instant playback, pedal support or adjust the speed of the song without editing the pitch at the same time.

The app can generate a spectrum graph for a given note or chord by analyzing the present frequencies. The amplitude of the note is exhibited with a wavy line, while the piano keyboard graphic provides a visual reference.
