Windows Audio Recorder Professional is a sound recording program. Windows Audio Recorder Professional records sound generated, or requested, by other computer programs, such as RealPlayer, Windows Media Player, QuickTime, WinAmp, and many others. Recorded sound is saved in wave-file mp3-file format.
For example, you can use Windows Audio Recorder Professional to record:

An intelligent recorder:
