Mixman StudioPro

Mixman StudioPro comprises several tools that should help audio enthusiasts create tracks that border professional quality.

The application bundles in utilities for remixing, recording and editing sound samples. Also available are about 20 effects that can be customized in order to come up with a piece of audio that fits your taste.

The package is not difficult to install on the system but the process can take some time and it is highly fragmented as user input is required plenty of times.

Although most of this type of applications require the entire screen for a proper look at all the values and options, in the case of Mixman StudioPro the area of interest is restricted to a much smaller size, the rest of the screen estate being covered in black.

The main console allows choosing the tool you want to work with. The controls of the bottom of each utility permit navigating back to the main console at any moment.

To make things easier for the user, the bundle includes some samples that can be used to toy around with each of the available modules. There is also a documentation file that guides you step by step through the process of mixing and altering the sound until you get to the desired result.

Although Mixman StudioPro has not been updated in a long time it continues to function on the modern versions of Windows. However, working with it is not as comfortable as with other suites that provide a more comfortable experience.
