Softpedia Editor's Review for 1by1
|
One of the smallest free MP3 players
Written by Bogdan Popa on October 24th, 2011
If you’re not satisfied with the top players in the market when it comes to your MP3 player, one thing is sure: you should really give 1by1 a try.
Because if there’s something to complain about when trying the most popular solutions out there, that’s definitely their complexity, as they include tons of unnecessary tools that do nothing more than to make the whole app using thing a lot more difficult.
1by1 is a simple MP3 player that comes with a very clean interface (so clean that it’s almost annoying sometimes) and with a brilliant idea: play all audio files in a folder so that the user doesn’t need to create playlists.
We’ve tried the application a little bit and after playing for a few minutes with its settings we’ve managed to get a pretty handsome MP3 player.
And the thing with playing all audio files in a folder is quite a great solution because all we had to do was to double-click one and then let 1by1 do its magic.
Since we’re talking about such a lightweight package, 1by1 is not at all hungry of computer resources and everything goes smooth at an impressive audio quality.
The conclusion is pretty simple: 1by1 relies on a very innovative idea, but there’s still some work to do. A better looking interface, with theme support or at least a few predefined skins would be a great update for an otherwise excellent product.
