The ArchivePlayer application is useful for people who have a big MP3 music archive on CDs, but play these files from a smaller subset they copied to the harddisk (this can also be a harddisk MP3 player). The primary job is to manage the smaller archive on harddisk with a simple update function.
In addition, ArchivePlayer is a frontend for playing the audio files. It shows a simple overview of the files on harddisk in a list and plays them with your default player (works with WinAmp) by creating a temporary playlist.
Constraints:
- A Dir List contains a a list of direcories where MP3 files are stored on harddisk in subdirectories.
- MP3 files must be in subdirectories on CDs, usually one dir per album.
- MP3 files on harddisk must be in subdirectories in one of the directories specified in the Dir List.
- Only.mp3 files are supported.
- There must be a program associated with *.m3u files in order to use the playback function.
