BS MP3

BS MP3 3 is a very simplistic audio player that comes packed with basic options and support for MP3 and WMA files. It does not integrate complex features or configuration parameters, making it suitable even for novices.

Hassle-free installation and simple GUI The setup procedure does not take a long time to finish, and no special attention is required in this stage. The main app window is small and lets users import an entire folder with MP3 and WMA files with the help of the tree view or drag-and-drop function.

It is possible to pause or stop the track, play the previous or next one from the list, as well as select any song from the current folder using a drop-down menu.

BS MP3 3 also provides direct access to the Windows Volume Mixer via the context menu, in order to modify the volume level for the sound device and active apps.

It is possible to adjust the frame's opacity level, hide the notifications from the system tray area (they normally pop up on track changes), show remaining time instead of elapsed time, enable repeat and random mode, as well as switch to compact viewing mode and minimize BS MP3 3 to the system tray area.

CPU and RAM consumption was low during our tests. We have not come across any unpleasant suprises, since the tool did not hang, crash or pop up error messages. Although it is not the most good-looking or feature-rich audio player, BS MP3 3 gets the job done and has minimal impact on system performance.
