MP3 Shuffle is a lightweight cross-platform utility that helps users listen to different audio files in a clean environment.
The user interface is really simple and allows you to add the items to the list by using the “drag and drop” support or built-in browse button. Plus, you may upload an entire folder to the list.
The application works with the following file formats: AIF, ASF, ASX, AU, MID, MP2, MP3, MP4, RAM, WAV, WMA, and others.
MP3 Shuffle comes packed with features that are found in any similar audio players, as it gives you the possibility to play, pause or stop the current selection, go to the next or previous song, adjust the volume, as well as shuffle or repeat the songs. What’s more, you can view a history with played songs.
The program enables you to add multiple songs to different preset playlists (e.g. country music, oldies, modern rock, rap music, oldies, rock songs, party mix). This way, you can create playlists according to music genres. Unfortunately, MP3 Shuffle doesn’t let you create your own playlists.
Songs can be deleted, copied or moved from one playlist to another, and you may also perform searches to find a song, switch to full screen mode, and add plugins.
All things considered, MP3 Shuffle proves to be a simple audio player that bundles limited features for helping you listen to your favorite songs. It cannot compete with other powerful tools from its category, as it lacks many advanced parameters. However, it does what it says and remains light on the system resources.
