Quintessential Media Player Lite

Quintessential Media Player Lite is the light edition of Quintessential Media Player, as the name implies, comprising the necessary and suffice features for providing users with a smooth audio and video experience.

The interface of the media player is made from a small window with a well-defined layout, representing a compact version of the fully-featured tool's GUI. It is compatible with a wide array of audio and video formats, including AVI, FLV, MP4, MP3, WAV and OGG.

You can load audio and video files and even playlists into the player using only the file browser or folder view, since the drag-and-drop function is not supported. But it is possible to make file associations, as well as to load audio CDs or URLs.

Standard media controls give you access to pause or stop the stream, adjust the volume and seek a position in the track. You may enable repeat or shuffle mode, make the frame stay on top of other windows, edit music metadata and load equalizer presets.

Quintessential Media Player Lite supports multiple skins, visual and plugins, letting you fully customize the interface. Its configuration can be made when it comes to the network connection, file and player icons, multimedia keyboard support, playback mode, timer, hotkeys and many others.

The application has a minimal impact on the system resources and a good response time. We have not encountered any difficulties in our tests, since the tool did not hang or crash. Less experienced users may take some time to get familiarized with Quintessential Media Player Lite's advanced options.
