Rhapsody is a handy and reliable application designed to provide users with a service for subscribing to an online music store. It is easy to use by both beginners and experts, but its features are only available in the United States.
Since this is an ad-supported program, users are advised to pay special attention during installation. Rhapsody offers to download and install the Yahoo! Toolbar.
The application features a simple and easy-to-follow interface, from where you can create a new user account, by purchasing Rhapsody.
So that means the trial version is limited - you cannot play full-length streaming tracks, add tracks and albums to My Library, listen to Rhapsody radio channels and create custom ones, view and edit My Rhapsody, create and edit playlists made from Rhapsody tracks, view and publish on Playlist Central (the program's online community).
All you can do is listen to 30-second samples from all available albums in the music store, scan for music files in your hard drive (you can also import your iTunes library), import and view photos and videos, use an equalizer, run program in the background (in system tray), and change general settings.
Unfortunately, we could not accurately evaluate this product, since it comes with such limited features. However, the sound quality is impeccable, the online help file is well built, but the program uses a high amount of system resources. Nevertheless, you can experiment with it and decide for yourself how good Rhapsody really is.
