VUPlayer is an program that you can use to play audio tracks and make some adjustments.
The interface of the application is plain and simple to navigate through. You can import music by using either the file browser or "drag and drop" method.
In the playlist you can check out the artist and title name, as well as format type, number of channels and duration of each file (but you can add more columns).
So, you can use basic audio player tools such as pause and stop, navigate back and forth within the track and adjust the volume.
Furthermore, you can save playlists, add a URL, convert audio, as well view and edit ID3 tag information (e.g. artist, album, genre).
In addition, you can choose the balance and pitch control, select the counter color and font, view a graphic equalizer, as well as sort the playlist.
But you can also mute the volume, enable shuffling, repeat mode (for the current track or entire playlist) and automatic crossfade, jump to a particular track and modify timer playback settings (e.g. start playback when the screensaver is launched).
Moreover, you can display a mini control bar, oscilloscope, solidscope, spectrum analyzer and VU meter, specify the output device, sample frequency rate and buffer length, set the DAE priority, make file associations, configure keyboard shortcuts, and more.
The software takes up a low-to-moderate amount of system resources, includes a brief help file with snapshots and ran smoothly during our tests. We haven't come across any difficulties and strongly recommend VUPlayer to all users.
