Everyone wished at some point to become rockstars. But when you end up using the computer 24/7, your chances to make it big in the rock industry significantly decrease.
One of the most interesting software in the music field would let you play with drums, right? Yeah, we got excited at first, too.
Drums Room is a small and free application that lets you experiment with the sounds that a drum makes (13 of them, in this case).
Installation is not necessary, so simply run the executable file, and then delete the entire folder to completely remove it from the computer.
The user interface is pretty blunt, and you can't actually do anything except hit the number keys on your keyboard, three letters, and change the picture of the drums (you know, you could see a lot of drum pictures if you perform a quick online search).
The only thing you can do in this limited application is "try to create" a drum roll by hitting keys 1 through 9 (and no, num-pad doesn't work, so the task is even harder to accomplish), and three others.
You can't even record and save any "song" you might miraculously create.
Speaking of which, how exactly could you create a drum roll? Your fingers are not that fast on the keyboard. One might create a small program that directly inputs the numbers into Drums Room, but that's all we can think of.
So, if you get very bored some day, or if you want to keep your kid busy for a few hours, then by all means, use Drums Room.
