EDL Mirror description
EDL Mirror is a useful program that solves the long standing problem of how best to add effects and colour correctionEDL Mirror is a useful program that solves the long standing problem of how best to add effects and colour correction to an existing master tape. Since effects are usually applied on a shot-by-shot basis it would normally be necessary to split the master clip manually.
EDL Mirror works by importing the original EDL (used to create the master) and copying the record in/out timecodes to the source in/out timecodes, removing any speed changes, audio events and comments whilst retaining dissolves and wipe transitions.
