Whether you need to transfer the sounds and lyrics from an audio file to paper or simply transcribe a MIDI file, Encore provides you with all the tools needed for professional music notation.
Simple-to-use music composer for complex operations
The program is designed to help you fill a music sheet as easily as you would write down the notes on a piece of paper, since making adjustments, deleting notes and inserting new ones becomes a walk in the park. In addition, you can quickly listen to the composition with just a click of the button.
Intuitive interface with straightforward commands
The interface of the program makes it easy to insert a double whole note or a half rest. You can also use the keyboard to play notes and to insert them into the score.
Adjusting the position of the notes is no hassle at all, as the operation can be completed by simply dragging them with the mouse or by fine-tuning them through specific keyboard shortcuts. The application allows you to work with the tempo, measures, note duration and pretty much every item that needs to be adjusted when writing music.
More advanced tools for experienced users
After you get accustomed with the basic features, you can really use the more powerful functions like the polyphonic part voicing or editable expressions palettes. As you use Encore you should realize that it is far more capable than what you would normally need to transfer your music on a piece of paper.
Print music scores and export compositions
Printing the score is only one of the program's options of saving the composition for later use. You can also export the music to a XML music file or to a MIDI file and save a certain composition as a template that you can use multiple times. However, not all of this functionality is included in the demo version of the application.
