Just Play Something is a small toolfor Windows XP and Windows Vista that runs a random music file stored on your computer and is very simple to use.
You just let the program index your music files and then you click the Play button whenever you would like your favorite music player to play a random song.
And with a hotkey defined for the Play button, playing of a random song will become even easier and more comfortable.
Here are some key features of "Just Play Something":
· Play Random button is the main feature of Just Play Something. Whenever you click this button or press assigned hotkey (Hotkeys), a random music file from your music library (Building Music Library) will be executed so it will start to play in your favorite music player.
· In order to move the Play Random button, you have to press the left mouse button and the Ctrl key first.
· Play Current Again button is the button, which appears above the Play Random button if you move the mouse cursor over the Play Random button or press assigned hotkey. Whenever this button is pressed, the current song starts play again (repeat).
· The Now Playing Infobar displays the song information whenever a new random song starts to play or the current song starts to repeat.
· Building Music Library is a special dialog, where you can (re)build your music library. After the indexing process is completed, a database file with records containing paths to all music files which have been found is created. You can also redefine search mask.
· There can be two hotkeys defined. One for the Play Random button, the other for the Play Current Again button.
· Installation contains five color themes: black (default), gray, blue, orange and green.
