LimeWire Music is a software designed to help you seamlessly download files from the Internet.

Since it is ad-supported, you should be careful when installing this tool. LimeWire Music offers to download a third-party component that is not important, as well as to make some changes to your web browsers.

When you first open the application with the user-friendly interface, you can configure settings which revolve around the output directory and Internet connection speed.

But you can also let LimeWire Music scan your hard drive for media files and import them to share with other users online.

So, you can select the search type (audio, video, images, documents, programs, all), input the file name and initiate the scanning process.

In the list of results you can view the quality, format, type, size, speed and bit rate of each file. Simply open the context menu to download a particular file.

In addition, you can mark files as junk, repeat or stop the search, browse the host, play files in the default media player and change the interface skin, as well as access the "Monitor" and "Library" areas.

In the "Options" window, you can set the default directory for saved files, select folders and file extensions to share, set the maximum number of downloads, enable to connect on startup, minimize to system tray and shutdown after transfers, disable the chat, and more. Settings can be restored to default at any time.

The tool uses a small amount of system resources and didn't freeze or crash during our tests. However, it was unable to download several files, due to lack of sources.
