MP3 Cut 5.5.1

MP3 Cut is a software solution designed to do exactly what its name suggests: split MP3 files into multiple pieces fast and easy, while preserving the audio quality of the original file.

The interface is quite pleasant and good looking and it really helps the app get the job done. And although the interface is impressive, not the same thing can be said about its features.

MP3 Cut has been developed to provide three different cutting modes, by length, by size and by count of equal length clips, which means the user will have to make different settings every time he wants to cut a new MP3.

In addition, in case the user wishes to select just a single cutting section, he has the option to right click the file and launch the Cut Section tool. He then has to select the starting and the ending positions, but the thing we missed the most was a built-in player to be able to listen to the selected piece on the go.

Instead, MP3 Cut will open Windows Media Player every time, which may very well make things a bit more complicated for some of the users.

Otherwise, MP3 Cut works great. It serves its purpose very fast, while running low on computer resources.

There is a help manual as well, but nothing too fancy to brag about, just the basic information about every single feature that's included in the application.

The good thing about MP3 Cut is definitely the interface and the speed it boasts when trying to deal with users' requests. The bad is probably the way it interacts with the user, as going to Options and choosing a new cutting mode every time you open the app isn't quite a comfortable thing

Overall however, MP3 Cut remains a decent software solution, and with a few improvements here and there, it may win users' hearts some day.
