MidiIllustrator Player

MidiIllustrator Player is a practical and accessible program designed to be a simple player for MIL score documents, for piano lessons or performances. It's useful to check if the sheet corresponds with what you have, and it's recommended to use it with the items created with MidiIllustrator Maestro or Virtuoso.

The offered layout is modern and easy-to-use, bringing a neatly structured ribbon menu, and several themes. The supported file format is MIL. A plus is the fact that the app comes with four samples, that can be used to learn how the tool works. MidiIllustrator Player lets you print the documents with or without additional components, and view the recently accessed records.

The blue line can be used to pick the desired location, from where the player starts. Plus, the stave and notes are nicely displayed, while on the left side of the panel, you can view which instrument interprets each row. You have the option to change the look, by hiding various elements, like toolbar, files, perform, and switch between window, page and scroll mode.

If you want to adjust the score, you can easily do that, from the menu, by inputting the proper margins values, and picking the corresponding unit. What's more, the player can be paused and stopped at any given time, while the sound tweaked to the desired volume. The tempo may be increased as well, either from the toolbar or the bottom right corner. Plus, the tool supports multiple tabs open, which can be toggled between cascade or window modes.

To sum it up, MidiIllustrator is a useful and intuitive program created to provide an easy way to view and play MIL score drafts, and print them out once you checked if they are accurate or not.
