WavSniper is a time-saving utility for Musicians, DJs, Producers and Sound Designers who need quick access to their countless sound sample libraries.
When you are in a creative mood, nothing spoils it more than having to search through countless sub-diectories and sample disks just for that perfect sample.
Simply copy all your samples (leave the descriptive directory structures intact) to your Hard Drive and let WavSniper do the rest.
WavSniper will quickly wade through the sample discs countless sub-directories and automatically attaching multiple TAG (categories) to your samples, and generate a search box prefilled with the various TAGs grabbed from the sample CD's file-structure.
This way, you will be able to narrow your search by specifying categorized key words, or simply enter a search term.
Each sound file (wav) will be added to a database along with automatically generated TAGS that help describe the file. (based on a variety of factors, most importantly, the file directory structure).
Here are some key features of "WavSniper":
· Right-Click on multiple items to batch edit the TAGS
· Right-Click on single items to open Explorer and have the file highlighted
· Middle-Click on single items to Drag-and-Drop them into your favourite DAW.
· Easily manipulate the TAG exclusions, remove duplicate entries.
· Click on a sound file automatically previews the file (audio), and copies its filename to the clipboard.
· Currently supports WAV and MP3
