CatGrab is a very powerful file downloader for digital cameras, which renames the imported files (photos and film) by date and time and archives them in appropriate directories on a biannual, quarterly or monthly basis.

CatGrab will allow you to handle your digital camera with ease. Files are not duplicated on your PC, even when the file names have been changed. Just take photographs and then play the images on your PC.

CatGrab offers the advanced user the additional options of withholding files from import on the basis of search terms and/or size, storing static or dynamic signatures in the file names and customising file and directory names.

As an example, the dynamic signature is a random term that can be allocated to a specific camera model and which then appears in the file name.

· The files can only be copied from the camera
